Chris Andoe is the Executive Editor and CEO of the LGBTQ+ publication Out in STL. Called “One of our city’s best talkers” by St. Louis Magazine’s Nicholas Phillips, Andoe is an Oklahoma native who has bounced between San Francisco and New York. But it was the “haunted old river city” of St. Louis and its LGBTQ+ community that inspired his two critically acclaimed books, a story in Belt Publishing’s St. Louis Anthology, and his decision to make this city his home. In 2023, he headlined STL Fringe Fest with his one-man show, The Final Performance of Midnight Annie. He previously penned a society column in the Riverfront Times, and has also written for Sauce and St. Louis Magazine.
