Photographer

Tyler Small is a St. Louis-based photographer, digital producer, and community storyteller. Raised between Castle Point and Kinloch, Tyler uses his camera to capture real, heartfelt moments that reflect the people and places that shaped him. His work shines a light on local culture, family, and community. Through his ongoing photo series Father Figures, he celebrates Black fatherhood and helps raise funds for free mental health support through The Village PATH, where he also serves on the board.

Tyler also works as a Digital Producer at SLAM! Agency, where he helps tell meaningful stories through video and photography. Whether he’s covering a community event or helping a nonprofit share its mission, Tyler leads with care and connection. His photos have been featured by Kranzberg Arts Foundation, The Village PATH, and more. At the heart of everything he does is a love for St. Louis and a passion for helping people feel seen.
