As a writer with a background in Accounting and Finance, Emily cherishes the time she spends crafting articles and non-fiction. She has been fortunate enough to advance her creative writing education with Washington University in St. Louis, which allows her to provide value to the St. Louis community through the meaningful impact of the written word.
Emily was born and raised in Alton, Illinois, just on the other side of the Mississippi River and considers herself a St. Louis native. She spent over a decade living and working in St. Louis and fell in love with both the city itself and the wild and rambling Missouri wilderness.
Aside from her love for writing, Emily enjoys staying active with her Siberian Husky, Katya, who is always ready for an adventure.
