Namratha Prasad is a journalist based in St. Louis. She is from the suburbs of Chicago and attended journalism school at the University of Missouri. Her work appears in newspapers and publications worldwide including POLITICO Europe and The Connexion France. She worked as a public safety reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, where she also gained skills in data journalism. She helped create the largest public salary database for the Post-Dispatch as an intern. She now works part-time at the St. Louis American.

Namratha lives in Maplewood sometimes with a puppy or kitten, as she enjoys fostering for the Humane Society of Missouri.

She loves to interact with people, whether that’s on stage as a newbie in the St. Louis comedy scene, or on the scene as a reporter.
