Valerie Schremp Hahn
Writer
Valerie Schremp Hahn is a south St. Louis County native who started her published writing career at age 15 as an Opinion Shaper columnist for the Suburban Journals. She is now an associate editor for the Catholic Health Association of the United States. In between, she spent 26 years as a reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, writing about education, courts, crime, historic and cultural events and venues, and anything else she could get away with. Her freelance work has been published in the Post-Dispatch and The New York Times.
Valerie lives in Shaw with her husband Andy, their teen son and daughter, and their dog June.
She’s a sucker for a campy roadside attraction, a crazy but true story, and loves to hear what makes people tick.
